everything i know is wrong

everything i do, it just comes undone

and everything is torn apart

oh and that’s the hardest part

i wake up, it’s a bad dream

no one on my side

i was fighting

but i just feel too tired to be fighting

guess i’m not the fighting kind

the week from christmas eve to new years is always the worst one for my mental health

i’ve needed this song lately…

My paintings or renders are an escape from the world which is full of terror and sad realities. I have a special place for Purple and Blue as it helps me to seek calmness around me. I love working with silhouettes cause sometimes you can show more with fewer details. Most of the paintings are without references as I try to translate my thoughts into art.

expect little and rarely be disappointed

ah, England..

there’s a pretty big disconnect between the consensus on social media and reality. I was under the impression that Boris was an unelectable clown, but both him and The Donald have proved otherwise.

as someone who’s on the left, it’s becoming more and more clear with the rise of crypto-fascism and Rupert Murdoch’s media genius, that elections are quickly becoming unwinnable. Mainly because elections are no longer about policy, they’re about clickbait headlines, being afraid of brown people, and owning the libs.

sure, you can call the population of the UK that voted Tory sexist, islamaphobic, etc, - but that doesn’t help you win elections. It doesn’t persuade people, and it doesn’t show them the legitimacy of left-wing ideology.

Obama was right - snarky and woke tweets that dunk on Trump, Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson and co aren’t activism. Their ideas, charisma, and what they stand for will persevere. That’s what social media is nowadays, and it’s completely disconnected from reality. There’s even a double-standard here - just look at the memeing and insulting of Greta Thunberg.

This is part of why I can’t help but predict Trump to win in 2020, even if he runs against Bernie. The anti-socialist media machine combined with the lack of education in America is too much to overcome. As much as I believe in Bernie and respect his holistic approach to politics, I am not confident telling people that their healthcare/planet/future is at stake is enough to win anymore.

It doesn’t take a useless overpaid CNN pundit to deduce that this is going to end horribly. Similar global sentiments existed in the 1910s and the 1940s as they do now. I don’t even have to mention global warming. A lot of people are going to suffer dearly.

The world has been getting worse and worse for a good long while, but things have really accelerated since 2016. The political high road is no longer an option in this world. You lie, you insult, you become the emobidment of corruption - you win.

Bottom line is that if you’re rich and powerful, you will not be held accountable. There won’t be any justice for Jamal Khasoggi. There won’t be any for Christine Blasey Ford either.

The last few years have taught me karma doesn’t truly exist, and I fucking welcome the opportunity to be proven wrong.

how do you not become a fatalist?

i’m lost in your world of static, and i can’t find my way back home

being in stores that look like this and play this kind of music always makes me hyper-aware of aging and the inevitability of death
